Powder-Coating-Ovens
Powder Coating Ovens supplied by Vulcan Catalytic Systems are used for curing powder on metal substrates, such as aluminum extrusions, sheet metal and various metal geometric shapes.

Vulcan Catalytic Systems designs and manufactures both the catalytic heaters and the infrared ovens. The ovens are designed to surround the parts using our "totally reflected" technology to ensure the entire part reaches temperature rapidly.
- Powder Coating Ovens
- Cure Ovens
- Booster Ovens
- convection
Infrared Ovens
Vulcan's Custom designed, fully reflected industrial catalytic ovens for infrared oven applications such as curing coatings, drying and thermoforming applications. Built and shipped in pre plumed and wired oven modules for any industrial infrared heating requirements. Designed with SolidWorks the panel construction ensures competitive, highly efficient, multi-angled infra-red reflector placement, with precise PLC controlled multi-zoned catalytic IR heaters. The modular construction allows for ease of transportation and field installation
- Environmentally Friendly
- Modular in Design
- Pre-gel, Pre-heat, Booster Ovens
- Drying Ovens
- Thermoforming Ovens
- Retrofit Kits to replace electric ovens
Catalytic Heaters
Vulcan Infrared Catalytic Heaters are the most advanced, responsive infrared heaters available for the Process Heating Industry. These patented, durable, reliable, flameless gas infrared catalytic heaters, operate on either natural gas, propane or butane. They are Factory Mutual approved, providing an even heat distribution for demanding applications such as Thermoforming plastic, cure of powder on metal and MDF.
Well arranged Infrared Catalytic gas heaters are the ideal method of heating complex geometric parts, due to the totally defused infrared that is emitted from such a large surface area, ensuring an even temperature increase across the surface of the part. Vulcans' infrared gas heaters are environmentally sound, emitting no regulated gases such as Nitrous oxides or carbon monoxide into the atmosphere.
MDF Powder Coating Systems:
A gas fired catalytic oven from Vulcan Catalytic Systems is
the heart of a powder coating on MDF installation. For the best situation, we recommend a 3 oven, 2 coat system with
the first coat being a primer powder and the final, a color powder. Thanks
to precisely controlled ceramic catalysts and properties of the Infrared
that is emmited, the MDF panels are
preheated and subsequently powder coated and then cured. Compared to convection ovens and UV systems, gas catalyst technology is not only far better to control and adjust, but also more cost-effective while not subjecting the board to prolonged exposure to hot air in a convection oven that destroys the mechanical properties and dries the wood to dangerous levels.
