MDF Powder Coat Systems

MDF Powder Coat Systems, designs and manufactures catalytic infrared ovens for powder coating Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF). Our two coat in-line system has become the Global standard for this fast growing, economical alternative for finishing MDF.
The two coat system utilizes three infrared ovens, a pre heat infrared oven to make the MDF conductive, a pre gel infrared oven to cure the primer and a final cure infrared oven. The system uses two powder coating booths for the primer and top coat.
Visit our web site mdfpowdercoatsystems.com and view our test facility in Portsmouth Rhode Island that has three gas catalytic infrared ovens and see why MDF Powder Coat Systems are the leaders and innovators for curing coatings on heat sensitive products such as kitchen cabinet doors made of MDF. MDFPCS uses gas catalytic infrared heaters manufactured by Vulcan Catalytic Systems.

Vulcan Catalytic Heaters

Vulcan Infrared Catalytic Heaters are the most advanced, responsive infrared heaters available for the Process Heating Industry.
These patented, durable, reliable, flameless gas infrared catalytic heaters, operate on either natural gas, propane or butane. They are Factory Mutual approved, providing an even heat distribution for demanding applications such as Thermoforming plastic, cure of powder on metal and MDF.
Well arranged Infrared Catalytic gas heaters are the ideal method of heating complex geometric parts, due to the totally defused infrared that is emitted from such a large surface area, ensuring an even temperature increase across the surface of the part. Vulcans’ infrared gas heaters are environmentally sound, emitting no regulated gases such as Nitrous oxides or carbon monoxide into the atmosphere.
